Fight, Fight, Fight ~> Photo 39

It feels like it has been forever since I have been on here!  In my defense a lot has gone on this summer...  We moved, oldest child had Driver's Ed, youngest had summer school, and the one in the middle started school on the modified calendar at the end of July!  Plus we got sick!!!  So we did not really get a "summer vacation".

The move was crazy and we were really stressed out!  But now all the kids have their own rooms and hubby has a computer room!!! (No More Computers in My Bedroom and Living room!!!)  I think this a step in the right direction, we are no longer in a small cramped up town house fighting with one another about everything.  Now we have our own spaces, a place to cool off and relax!  We still fight with each other over stupid stuff (most popular fight is about doing homework and reading) but I'm not hearing the boys fight over who's mess it is in the bedroom (it was Cole's).

Next move will hopeful be us buying a house!
But till then I am pretty happy with this one!
(Just need to finish unpacking and putting stuff away!)

A Diary of a Whiny Mom!

So again I am going to do: "A Diary Of A Whiny Mom!"

(we so love the 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' books and movies)

Today it is about how LONG and HOT the summer has been! School is around the corner and the boys are not getting any better! Most day have been supper hot so they can't spend a lot of time out there and they are the ages that they don't want to do the same things any more... the older want to be on the computer the younger one wants to play with toys still, and so on!

We have been to a pool here and a pool there (a lot more than last year) but nothing consistent like when we lived in the apartment 4/5 years ago. We have had some friends over and been over to friends houses. Lila did a couple of camps, the boys did not want to do any camps!

But all I hear most days at any given time is.....

"Mom, Jesse won't play with me! Make him play with me!"

"Mom, Cole won't leave me alone! Make him go away!"

"Mom, Jesse won't go outside with me..."

"Mom, Cole's on my side..."

&

"It's my turn first!"

"You promised to play another game with me!"

"He hit me!"

"Hey that's Mine!"

And it seem to be all day these days! And it is making me a little crazy!

Ok... A LOT OF CRAZY!!!

Is it to late to sign them up for YEAR ROUND SCHOOL? Because I CAN NOT take another summer like this! Something has got to give!!!!

~So sign them up for camp!

You can't make them if the don't want to go,

plus we don't have the $ to do it all the time!

~Take them out!

They fight even when we take them out,

so much so I don't want to go any where with them!

Plus the HEAT, Plus the $...

~Put them to work!

They do have chores.

Some they get payed for and some that they don't.

I am sooo glad school starts next week! I have a whole school year to figure out what I am going to do next year! I am praying for a good school year!

But if something does not give I may be running away come May 2012!

a house wife's day

Wow another hard morning and I wonder why I never want to get out of bed! It started with a headache, I think it was the same one I went to bed with last night. Then there was a cereal fight!!! Trying to get the boys to pour less in their bowl (the newer bowls are bigger then the old ones). Cole doesn't alway eat the giant bowl he pours and the cereal is going so fast I am having a hard time keeping it stocked up!!! (I may need to find something else for quick easy cheap breakfasts!) Then there is Lila who want a bowl of cereal but doesn't eat any of it!!! The girl eats so little it is a wonder that she is growing at all!!!

Then there is getting Cole out the door to go to school! The boy HATES SCHOOL!!!! & I understand, most of us did not like it at one point or another!!! But that doesn't change the fact! He has to go! Maybe just maybe if he did not push my buttons, listen to me better, just maybe I could homeschool him but b/c that is not something I could do for him and he would be so bored w/ no kids to play w/ it just would not work!!! So we fight about it most mornings!

I did take Lila to the park, it is beautiful outside, not to hot not to cold! Sun out w/ a nice breeze! But Lila is off today, maybe tired. There weren't many children out this morning, we were at the park for 30/45 minutes before another person and a child came for a little while then they were gone after about 30 minutes! Then it was another 15/20 minutes before more children came! Usually Lila is ok w/ playing by herself but today like I said she was off... she complained about being hungry, no surprise since she did not eat breakfast but usually she not hungry till 11. And she keep wanting to go home to get a snack but when I asked her to help me pick up the sand toys she would drink some of her water and started playing again! She did this like 4 or 5 times! So finally right before 11 I pick up the toys by myself and by this point she was ready to go home. She ate great for lunch which is normal for her, pick little at breakfast eat great for lunch and nothing for dinner! And yet she grows like a weed!!! But that is a 2 year old for you! Soon to be a 3 year old!!!

So now she is napping I get a couple of hours to myself before I have to pick up the boys and we (meaning Cole and I) fight about homework!!! Then I make dinner.... feed the dog and cat.... get everyone ready for bed.... do the dishes... feed the fish.... I get ready for bed, yet I can't fall asleep till 12am or later since my brain wont shut down..... then I get the headache and finally fall asleep.... only to wake up in the next morning still tired w/ the headache!!! And it starts all over again!!! (and I have not said anything about the cleaning I did or was suppose to do! Which I am going to start now and get what I can down before Lila gets up and we have to get the boy from school....)
